Wildlife & the Atlantic is one of our pre-planned Namibia routes: 6 days and 5 nights, looping out of Windhoek through Etosha, Swakopmund and back — roughly 1,610 km of driving in all. Load it into our trip planner as it stands, or use it as a starting point and bend it to your dates, your pace and your budget: every route we publish is a suggestion, not a script.
A note on day one: morning arrivals into Windhoek can start the route the same day, but if you land after midday we recommend a first night in or near the capital — the distances out here are real, and the trip is better begun rested.
